The GameDev.tv 2025 GameJam is now over and the results are in. Chicken Chaser did pretty good in the categories that mattered the most to me: #120 for “Fun”, #148 for “Mechanics” and #163 for “Overall” - all out of over 1000 submissions. Pretty good I think for my first full original game and first game jam submission! Thank you to everyone who played and rated Chicken Chaser. I’ll be doing some small updates in response to some of the more common comments I got.

The first update got pushed out this morning - I recolored the stones so they’re more grey and less likely to be confused for eggs the first time you play. I also colored the Continue and Quit buttons so they’re a little more obvious.

Next on the list is to clamp the camera rotation - I’ll get to that later today or tomorrow.
